MICHELE WERNICK - Founder

Michele has vast experience working in the music industry, most notably in music supervision and licensing.  With additional background in wine marketing, sales and event planning, she was inspired to pair her passions and create MW Music & Wine Marketing; a unique company designed to strategically pair music and wine in order to leverage the marketing, promotion, and sales potential for both.

Before starting her own business, Michele was at Universal Music Enterprises as the Director, Film & TV Licensing. She left to pursue an exciting opportunity to become a principal at Secret Road Music Services, where she helped to develop every aspect of the company, from the music catalog to the licensing and publishing businesses. She also built international relationships and procured sync opportunities in advertising campaigns worldwide for artists such as; Civil Wars, Ingrid Michaelson, American Authors, Andy Grammer, Amy Stroup and Katie Herzig.

Prior to working on the representation side of sync, Michele was on the other side, searching for music to license for the projects she was music supervising under her own banner, Fermata Music.  With a focus on films, she worked on Big Daddy, Mr. Deeds, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigalo, See Spot Run and Urbania, among others.  Austin Powers was the first major studio film she had the good fortune to work on while apprenticing for a music supervisor.

In between changing directions, Michele had the opportunity to work at Line 6, where she was the Director of Artist Relations & Marketing, working with many high-profile artists, such as Coldplay, Radiohead, Maroon 5, Keane, Psychedelic Furs, No Doubt, U2, Sarah McCloughlin, Muse, INXS, Rush, Duran Duran.  With early experience both at Virgin Records and Capital Records, Michele knew then that no matter where her career path took her, music would always remain an important part of it.

TRISH BOCK - Partner

Patricia (Trish) Bock has established an impressive reputation in music marketing and promotion, working at the highest levels of the industry for many years. She began her career as music director at L.A.'s KIIS-FM during the station's record-breaking peak.  Shortly thereafter, she was recruited by Epic Records and joined the Sony Music family, where she rose to the role of National VP and helped launch the careers of Celine DionPearl Jam, OasisRage Against The Machine, among many other artists. 

Her success prompted a personal request by Michael Jackson to develop and run his label, MJJ Records, where she oversaw all departments.  She then went on to Jive/RCA Records as VP of Marketing & Promotion and was instrumental in breaking the all-time sales and streaming records with 'NSYNCJustin Timberlake, The Back Street Boys and Britney Spears.

With her vast experience and relationships, Trish created PLB Entertainment, an artist management and record label consulting & marketing business. She creates and implements global strategies for her many clients, including artists, managers and record labels. Trish’s partnership with MW Music gives us the unique ability to work with radio to cross-promote songs from placements, providing both the music and project with invaluable added exposure.

WILL CHADWICK - UnCommon Music

UK Representative

This London-based Brit has been surrounded by music all his life. He was introduced to the world of sync when he was co-managing his friend’s band with Trish Bock - The Filthy Souls.

While on a tour of North America with the band in 2010 they built a relationship with Michele, who licensed the band's music and likeness for countless TV projects, such as Pretty Little Liars, Vampire Diaries, and One Tree Hill; as well as advertising projects, including a BOSE TV campaign, which featured the whole band.

Will’s management experience also includes roles in fashion as Direct to Consumer Regional Manager, responsible for 600 staff, as well as UK Business to Business Sales Manager.

Will is a listener. Through his UK company, UnCommon Music, he is on the lookout for inspiring new music to add to our catalog and share with our licensing clients.
